Munich Airport and bayern design team up once more for a design exhibition...

... and we are part of it, with our design concept TERA. 

TERA is an elegant carpet transforming seamlessly into an intelligent fitness mat. The challenge was to transform training equipment into compelling experiences based around beautifully designed, behaviour-inspiring tools for a healthy lifestyle. TERA won several design awards and was internationally acknowledged. 

Discoverers 

The fourth part of the bayern design exhibition series is titled „Discoverers“. Hosted in Munich Airport's Terminal 2 and running until November 21, the show is centered around sports and technological innovations and will delight all researchers, design and sports enthusiasts. Companies and designers from Bavaria were involved in all of the concepts and products.

Technological innovations and social changes not only affect the industry but also the human body and its interaction with the environment. Ever new ways of doing sports are being developed, shifting the definition of sport. Design plays a crucial role at the interface between man and technology, defining areas of interaction and perception. 

The exhibition series is organized by bayern design, the center of competency for design supported by the State of Bavaria. Part 5 of the series and final exhibition, Smart Living, will open at the end of November 2019.
